Sonam is the creator of the open-source library called Embed-Anything, which helps to create local and multimodal embeddings and stream them to vector databases, it’s built in rust and thus it’s more greener and efficient. She worked previously at Qdrant Engine, and before that, she worked at Rasa. Previously, she worked as an AI researcher at Saama and has worked extensively on clinical trial analytics with Pfizer. She is passionate about topics like metric learning and biases in language models. She has also published a paper in the most reputed journal of computational linguistics, COLING, in ACL Anthology.

Sonam is a passionate innovator in the generative AI industry, having worked extensively in this field. She has released her own open-source AI library, with plans to release models soon. Her deep enthusiasm drives her to keep pushing the boundaries of AI technology. Sonam is particularly excited to attend Berlin Science Week, where she hopes to explore the intersection of AI and global challenges such as climate change. She is eager to share and learn how using more efficient AI libraries or smaller, optimized models can contribute to more sustainable and impactful solutions.
